Supporting Ventura County Shelters
The GMH Foundation believes that compassion extends beyond people and into the animal world. As part of our ongoing commitment to improving lives, we proudly support organizations that provide care, shelter, and protection for animals in need.
Over the years, the Foundation has contributed food, blankets, toys, cleaning supplies, and other essential resources to animal welfare organizations throughout Ventura County. These donations help provide comfort, enrichment, and daily care for animals awaiting adoption or receiving rehabilitation services.
In addition to supplying much-needed resources, the Foundation has supported improvements to shelter facilities, including helping fund and develop a dedicated dog-walking area where animals can exercise, socialize, and enjoy a healthier, more enriching environment.
Supporting Wildlife and Conservation
The Foundation's commitment to animal welfare has also extended to wildlife care and conservation efforts.
In one memorable project, the GMH Foundation donated food to the lions at the Santa Barbara Zoo, helping support the care and well-being of these magnificent animals. Witnessing the animals enjoy the donated enrichment was a rewarding reminder of the impact that community support can have on animal care organizations.
