A cornerstone of our charitable mission is supporting children receiving care at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital.
The Foundation honors the legacy of its namesake, whose own medical journey included treatment through UCLA Health. Inspired by the exceptional care and compassion experienced there, the Foundation proudly gives back to help pediatric patients and their families during some of life's most difficult moments.
Each year, Foundation representatives purchase and personally deliver gifts and essential items to support children receiving treatment at the hospital.
Donations have included:

- Computers and tablets
- Educational and comfort items
- Special gifts designed to bring joy and encouragement
These contributions help provide comfort, distraction, and emotional support to young patients while recognizing the important role families play throughout the healing process.
